sorry if this has been posted before I've been looking for a while and cant find anything. im thinking its more of a network issue but unsure. i just built a new pc and now i cant get my tablet to connect to the new pc. never had an issue with my old computer. ive changed over all my port forwarding settings from the old to the new in router settings even shut of all firewalls and anti virus still nothing. any thoughts?

so switched all my port forwarding back over to my laptop that's on the WIFI and did a router reset and was able to regain connection. and was able to regain connection to the lea server. went back switched everything back over to the desktop did a reset and back to not being able to communicate so its got something to do with the devices being connected by different means. any thoughts?

so it had something to do with the standard xfinity router/modem. even with all the port forwarding it didn't work. switched over to a ASUS triband with smart connect and tablets linked right up. still cant get to two computers to link but that doesn't matter as long as the devices do.

some times routers have separate wifi and wired network, you should check in your router configuration if there is an option to have your wifi and your wired on the same network. You can turn off the "Wireless Isolation" option in the router control panel.
